The 2025 edition of Voxxed Days, which Ex Machina sponsored again this year, brought together the Ticino tech community on January 16th and 17th in Lugano.
With 400 attendees, the atmosphere was charged with energy and eagerness to share knowledge. The joint forces of SUPSI, USI, and Exteso created a perfect environment for exchanging ideas and professional growth.
The two days were filled with memorable moments. On January 16th, the USI/SUPSI EST Campus hosted three hands-on workshops where participants got their hands dirty, directly experimenting with the discussed technologies. The following day, the heart of the event beat strongly with 30 presentations covering hot topics such as software architecture, backend development, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Speakers from every corner of the globe captured the audience’s attention with concrete examples and engaging discussions.
Ex Machina had the pleasure of being part of this technology celebration alongside other prominent names in the Swiss tech landscape, including lastminute foundation, Swisscom, WellD, SUPSI, USI, and Swiss Post. The support of the City of Lugano gave a special touch to the event, rooting it even more deeply in the local fabric. This year was also marked by a particular historical moment, celebrating Java’s 30th anniversary, a fundamental milestone for the language that has marked the history of software development.
The day concluded with eyes already set on the future: February 6th, 2026, Voxxed Days returns to Lugano for a new edition. Meanwhile, we carry with us the warmth of the connections made, the knowledge shared, and the passion that unites our developer community.
