Ex Machina announces AIRAS (Artificial Intelligence Response & Alert System): a decision support system for managing weather-hydro-geological events, currently in Beta phase and undergoing pilot testing with various municipal and administrative entities.
The project combines generative AI and deep reasoning, historical documentation (such as post-event reports and ordinances), and certified territorial data. Each municipality and organization receives personalized recommendations, based on their own regulations, emergency plans, and real-time information flows.
In a recent case study, AIRAS analyzed within minutes the potential impact of an event forecast by a weather-hydro-geological alert bulletin on a populated area, comparing Civil Protection procedures, documentation, and historical data. The system then suggested which actions to take to best address the situation. The involved administrations can access interactive maps with georeferenced intervention priorities, updated according to the latest available data.
